ISOtunes Link Bluetooth Earmuffs, OSHA Compliant Headphones for Work

The ISOtunes Link Bluetooth Earmuffs combine certified hearing protection with wireless connectivity for tradespeople, landscapers, and DIYers. Built for noisy environments, these over-ear headphones deliver an ANSI-certified 25 dB Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) while enabling wireless audio streaming and two-way phone calls.

Daily usability on the jobsite is supported by practical hardware choices. The earmuffs feature a padded headband alongside memory foam ear cushions for extended comfort during long shifts. Control is managed through raised external buttons, allowing you to answer calls or change tracks without removing your work gloves. Bluetooth 5.0 provides a stable wireless link to your phone or audio device.

Power management is a major highlight, offering up to 50 hours of playtime on a single charge. For situations where recharging is not an option, the unit supports an optional AAA battery backup that provides an additional 100 hours of runtime. Built-in SafeMax Technology limits the internal speaker output to 85 dB to comply with OSHA standards and prevent accidental volume spikes.

Because the internal speakers are permanently capped at 85 dB for safety, audio volume cannot be pushed higher in extremely loud situations where you might prefer louder music. The foldable frame offers an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance, but full immersion is not supported. Additionally, the AAA batteries required for the backup power mode must be supplied separately.

Verdict: The ISOtunes Link is an excellent choice for professionals and homeowners who need certified hearing protection alongside wireless audio. If you want dependable ear defense with extended battery life and glove-friendly controls, these earmuffs are well worth adding to your workday gear.
