Ortho Dial N Spray Hose End Sprayer

The Ortho Dial N Spray Hose End Sprayer attaches directly to your garden hose to distribute liquid concentrates across your yard. It eliminates the hassle of manual mixing and measuring, making it a reliable tool for homeowners managing weed killers, insect killers, fungicides, and fertilizers. Operating in three steps, it provides a straightforward way to treat your lawn and garden without extra mess.

Accurate application is managed through 14 built-in dilution settings, ranging from 1 teaspoon up to 8 ounces per gallon of water. This range allows you to dial in the exact concentration specified by your liquid products for effective treatment. To handle different areas of the yard, the nozzle switches between three distinct spray patterns: a wide broadcast for open lawns, a concentrated jet for reaching higher spots and tough rinsing, and a gentle shower for fragile plants and flowers.

The sprayer is built with user comfort and safety in mind. It includes an ergonomically designed trigger paired with an extended-grip handle to reduce strain during extended yard work. Connecting to your water supply is simple thanks to the rotating hose connector, while an integrated anti-backflow device prevents liquid concentrates from flowing backward into your household water system.

As a dedicated hose attachment, this tool relies entirely on an active garden hose and running water supply, meaning it is not suitable for areas out of hose reach. Additionally, the provided details do not state the exact jar volume, so you will need to monitor your concentrate levels as you work.

Verdict: The Ortho Dial N Spray is an excellent, practical choice for gardeners who want accurate chemical application without measuring cups or mixing buckets. Its multiple spray patterns and wide dilution range make it versatile enough for general lawn care, flower beds, and targeted spot treatments.
