Outvita Fertilizer Spreader, 70 LBS, All Season Broadcast Spreader, Black

The Outvita Fertilizer Spreader is a walk-behind broadcast spreader designed for year-round outdoor maintenance on home lawns and small farms. It manages seasonal yard tasks such as sowing grass seeds in the spring, distributing granular fertilizer in the summer, and spreading snow-melting agents or deicers during the winter. Its manual push design operates quietly without gas or electricity, making maintenance and cleanup straightforward.

Capacity and precision are the core strengths of this unit. The 70-pound hopper allows for continuous spreading across broad areas without constant stopping to reload. To control application rates, the spreader features a 15-level adjustment knob paired with a disc particle controller that includes a start-stop function. A built-in internal mixing structure helps prevent clogs and clumping, ensuring that materials feed evenly onto the spreading disc.

Durability and usability are addressed through sturdy hardware choices. The frame is constructed from powder-coated anti-corrosion steel, paired with a high-impact plastic hopper, a rust-proof gearbox, and a corrosion-resistant spreading disc. For mobility, 8-inch inflatable tires navigate across lawns, dirt paths, courtyard pavement, and gravel roads. Pushing is made easier thanks to an extended 22.8-inch handle, while a transparent rain cover keeps moisture out and lets you check remaining material at a glance.

Because this is a completely manual unit, moving full 70-pound loads over steep inclines or rough ground relies entirely on physical effort. The pneumatic tires may also need periodic pressure checks compared to solid plastic wheels. Additionally, the product specifications do not state the exact spread width, so you will need to gauge your broadcast coverage during initial use.

Verdict: The Outvita 70 LBS Broadcast Spreader is a reliable, versatile choice for homeowners and small property managers who need an all-season tool for seed, fertilizer, and ice melt. It offers generous capacity, solid rust-resistant construction, and fine-tuned spreading control for routine ground care.
