Detailed Review
The V-MODEST Small Cordless Lawn Mower is an ultra-compact electric walk-behind mower designed for simple, lightweight yard care. Weighing just 12 pounds, it solves the problem of wrestling with heavy, bulky machines when maintaining smaller yards, navigating garden beds, or carrying tools up steps and out of storage.
Under the hood, a brushless motor reaches 6500 RPM to deliver clean cuts through thick grass without the loud operation of traditional brushed motors. Power is supplied by two included 21V 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries, which together deliver up to 40 minutes of non-stop runtime. This cord-free design lets you move freely around your yard without searching for outdoor outlets or managing extension cords.
You can adjust the cutting deck across three specific height settings: 1 inch, 1.6 inches, and 2.2 inches. This range gives you the flexibility to trim short for active use or leave the grass slightly taller to help retain moisture. The mower functions by mulching, dropping clippings directly onto the ground so you never have to empty a bag or spend extra time raking.
There are some natural trade-offs with such a compact design. The 40-minute runtime means it is tailored strictly for small to modest lawns, and you are limited to three height positions. Additionally, because it drops clippings directly onto the grass, it does not offer a bagging option if you prefer to collect your trimmings.
Verdict: The V-MODEST Small Cordless Lawn Mower is a great match for homeowners who prioritize minimal weight and easy maneuverability. If you have a small yard and want a quiet, hassle-free tool with spare blades and two batteries included, it is a practical choice.
