Worx Cordless Lawn Mower, 40V 17" 2-in-1 Grass Mower for 1/4 Acre,

The Worx 40V 17-Inch Cordless Lawn Mower is an electric walk-behind mower engineered for small to midsize properties. Powered by a pair of 20V 4.0Ah batteries, it provides cordless yard care without the maintenance, extension cords, or emissions of traditional gas equipment. Its compact 17-inch platform makes it an approachable option for homeowners who need a manageable machine for regular turf upkeep.

Cutting performance centers on a brushless motor 2.0 paired with IntelliCut technology. This setup automatically adjusts cutting speed based on the thickness of your lawn, helping conserve battery runtime while maintaining power through denser patches. Users can quickly adapt to seasonal needs by choosing between mulching clippings or collecting them with the rear-bag discharge. A single lever adjusts the deck across six cutting heights, while the slim cut-to-edge deck design gets close to fences and garden beds to reduce trimming work.

Handling and storage are designed around convenience. Fully assembled, the mower weighs 40 lbs, making it easy to steer around obstacles and push across uneven ground. An on-board battery display lets you monitor remaining charge while working. When the job is done, the collapsible handles fold down completely, allowing you to store the unit standing vertically or flat horizontally in limited shed or garage space.

There are practical limitations to keep in mind based on its size and battery platform. The system is designed to cover up to a quarter acre on a single charge, so larger properties will require extra batteries or recharging breaks. Additionally, the deck operates as a 2-in-1 system with mulching and rear bagging, omitting a side-discharge option.

Verdict: This mower is an excellent choice for homeowners with lawns up to a quarter acre who want a lightweight, low-maintenance alternative to gas mowers. If you prioritize easy maneuverability and space-saving storage, this 40V cordless setup fits the bill.
