VEVOR Gas Powered Chainsaw 25.4CC 2-Cycle 12 Inch 1.2HP Cordless Chain Saw

The VEVOR Gas Powered Chainsaw is a compact cutting tool built for outdoor yard care, trimming, and small-scale felling. Powered by a 25.4CC 2-cycle engine, it gives homeowners and landscapers a portable, cord-free option that tackles branches and small logs without the bulk of heavy commercial equipment.

Despite its small footprint, the saw delivers 1.2HP (0.75KW) with a standard engine speed of 8500 RPM and a maximum speed reaching 11500 RPM. Paired with a 12-inch bar and high-strength steel chain, it handles cutting diameters up to 9.84 inches (250 mm). The bar design also helps reduce sawdust splatter, which keeps your workspace clearer while you cut.

Handling is a key strength of this model. Weighing in at 9.26 lbs (4.2 kg), the top-handle layout and ergonomic wrap-around grip make it comfortable enough for one-handed use during light trimming. Fuel management is straightforward thanks to the 0.24-quart (230ml) fuel tank and 0.17-quart (160ml) chain oil reservoir, both housed inside a tough outer shell engineered to resist leaks and rough handling.

As with any compact gas saw, there are clear practical boundaries. Its maximum cutting capacity stops just under 10 inches, so it is not intended for large timber or heavy-duty logging. It also relies on a 2-cycle gas mix, meaning regular fueling maintenance is required, and the seller notes that startup issues may occasionally require customer support.

Verdict: This lightweight gas chainsaw is well suited for property owners and gardeners who need a nimble, easy-to-handle tool for routine branch trimming, pruning, and light felling tasks.
