Detailed Review
The WORX 20V Cordless String Trimmer and Leaf Blower Kit (WG928) combines two essential lawn care tools to handle trimming, edging, and clearing debris. Designed for everyday yard maintenance, this package equips homeowners with a versatile cutting tool alongside a compact blower, supported by two dedicated batteries and a quick charger.
Versatility is built directly into the trimmer, which shifts from standard grass cutting into an edger with a simple pivot of the head. It features a push-button command feed system that dispenses fresh line on demand, keeping cutting efficiency high without manual adjustments. Paired with this is the cordless leaf blower, which utilizes a jet-engine-style turbine design to generate a wide airflow reaching 360 cfm at 75 mph.
Handling these tools is straightforward due to their lightweight construction. The leaf blower weighs just 4.4 lbs with its battery attached, while the string trimmer and edger comes in at 5.3 lbs. These low weights help keep physical strain down during extended trimming and clearing sessions around the yard.
As a cordless combo, runtime depends on the included battery pack, though the listing does not specify exact operating minutes per charge. The kit does include two batteries to help offset downtime, but larger properties may require routine recharging with the supplied quick charger between tasks.
Verdict: This combo kit is an ideal match for homeowners seeking an easy-to-handle, all-in-one yard maintenance setup. It delivers dependable trimming, edging, and clearing capabilities in lightweight designs without the hassle of gas or cords.
