Detailed Review
The WG323 20V 10-inch 2-in-1 pole saw is designed for trimming overhead branches and tackling yard cleanup without the hassle of extension cords or gasoline. It serves as a dual-purpose cutting tool, allowing users to cut grounded wood as a handheld chainsaw or attach the pole to manage high limbs.
Reaching high branches is straightforward thanks to the tool-free pole attachment, which gives you up to 12 feet of reach. Because the saw weighs just 10 pounds, maneuvering it above your head creates significantly less strain on your arms, shoulders, and back compared to heavier gas alternatives.
Maintenance during cutting is kept to a minimum with integrated automatic systems. The tool-free auto-tension mechanism keeps the chain properly set without manual adjustments, while the automatic chain oiler keeps cutting surfaces running smoothly. A built-in oil level window makes it easy to monitor fluid levels at a glance.
Keep in mind that while the saw includes an automatic oiling system, chain oil is not included in the box and must be purchased separately prior to your first cut. The tool also relies on the 20V Power Share battery line, so overall runtime will depend on the specific battery pack you use.
Verdict: This 2-in-1 pole saw is a great option for homeowners who need a lightweight, low-maintenance cutting tool to reach elevated branches up to 12 feet without cords or fuel mixing.
