40V 2-in-1 Cordless Pole Saw & Hedge Trimmer, 8" Cutting Bar &

The MITLEX 40V 2-in-1 Cordless Pole Saw and Hedge Trimmer combines high-reach branch cutting and shrub trimming into a single battery-powered tool. Instead of maintaining separate equipment or climbing ladders for outdoor yard work, you get an interchangeable system designed to manage tall hedges and elevated tree limbs safely from the ground.

The setup centers around an 8.5-inch extended telescoping pole that attaches to either an 8-inch guide bar saw or a 16-inch hedge trimmer. For pruning branches, the saw head includes an automatic oiler to lubricate the bar and chain, along with a tool-free tensioning system for fast chain adjustments. When you need to cut at unusual angles, the head tilts to 0, 15, 30, or 45 degrees, allowing you to align the cut with the natural growth of the limb rather than straining to make an awkward straight cut.

Switching over to the hedge trimming attachment gives you a 16-inch dual-action blade that cuts from both sides to reduce vibration and provide clean, neat cuts. Power is supplied by two included 40V lithium-ion batteries with built-in thermal and overload protection. Each battery provides up to 30 minutes of runtime, giving you the ability to swap packs and continue working without relying on gasoline or power cords.

While the dual-battery setup helps extend your work sessions, each pack tops out at 30 minutes of runtime, meaning very large properties may require frequent recharges. Additionally, the listing does not state the overall weight of the tool, nor does it provide a full recharge time for the battery packs.

Verdict: The MITLEX 40V combo tool is a solid, low-maintenance option for homeowners who need to trim shrubs and take down high branches without dealing with gas or ladders. It is especially suited for anyone who values a multi-angle head and the flexibility of swappable battery power for regular yard maintenance.
