Greenworks 40V 8 inch Cordless Pole Saw Battery and Charger Not Included,

The Greenworks 40V 8-inch Cordless Pole Saw is designed for homeowners and gardeners who need to trim high branches without climbing a ladder. Powered by a 40V system, this tool handles everyday yard maintenance and overhead pruning tasks around your property.

Its 8-inch bar and chain setup is matched with a versatile 3-piece aluminum shaft. The shaft measures 8 feet standard and can be extended to 9 feet, providing up to an 11-foot total reach for overhead cutting. Routine maintenance is straightforward thanks to the easy-adjust tensioning system, which lets you tighten the chain quickly between cuts.

For ongoing chain care, the built-in automatic oiler continuously lubricates the bar and chain to extend its working life. The translucent oil tank makes it simple to monitor remaining fluid levels before you start working, so you never run dry unexpectedly during a job.

One clear trade-off is that this package is a bare tool, meaning the 40V battery and charger are sold separately. You will also need to supply your own bar and chain oil, as the listing does not include starter fluids in the box.

Verdict: This pole saw is an excellent choice for anyone who already owns compatible 40V power tools and needs an easy-to-maintain, extendable pruner for tree limbs. It gives you solid reach and automated chain care in a single tool.
