Hooyman Cordless 40 Volt Pole Saw with In-Line 8in Saw, Auto-Oiler, 40V

The Hooyman Cordless 40 Volt Pole Saw provides a dedicated pruning setup for homeowners and landowners managing overhead branches. Built with a 40-volt battery system and an in-line 8-inch saw, this tool delivers cordless cutting reach without the hassle of fuel mixing or extension cords.

Practical usability is central to the design. The modular pole extends up to 10 feet when fully assembled, but it can also be configured with one additional section to match closer cutting heights. When the job is done, the 3-piece system breaks down to 48 inches and packs into the included carrying bag. Weighing under 10 pounds, it combines lightweight construction with ergonomic grips to keep handling secure and manageable during longer trimming sessions.

The cutting head features an in-line 8-inch guide bar and a heavy-duty chain designed to prevent binding during operation. An integrated auto-oiler features a clear view window, making it simple to verify lubrication levels. In addition, the 40V battery includes an onboard charge indicator so you can check available power before lifting the tool overhead.

While the 10-foot total extension covers typical yard maintenance, it may fall short for particularly high canopies. The product listing also does not provide specific details regarding battery amp-hour capacity or average runtime per charge, so plan large pruning sessions accordingly.

Verdict: The Hooyman 40V Pole Saw is an excellent choice for anyone who needs a lightweight, packable cutting tool for branch maintenance. Its modular 3-piece design, built-in oil monitoring, and limited lifetime warranty make it a reliable addition to your property care lineup.
