40V Electric Lawn Mower, 17" Brushless Push Lawn Mower

The PowerSmart 40V 17-Inch Brushless Push Lawn Mower provides a cordless cutting solution for homeowners maintaining medium-sized yards. Powered by a 40V 4.0Ah lithium battery and a 2900 RPM brushless motor, this walk-behind mower delivers the cutting force needed to tackle thick grass without the upkeep of gas engines.

A major highlight is the 3-in-1 clipping system. You can switch between mulching, side discharge, and rear bagging depending on your lawn care preferences. The included 12-gallon (46L) collection bag features a full-level indicator so you know exactly when to empty it, while a single adjustment lever lets you set cutting heights across 6 positions ranging from 1.5 to 3.9 inches.

The build centers around a heavy-duty 17-inch steel deck that offers impact resistance and stability across uneven terrain. For safety, the mower incorporates a removable safety key to prevent unintended startups, alongside protective debris shields positioned around the blade and side discharge chute.

Trade-offs reflect its compact cordless design. With a rated coverage of up to 5,445 square feet (1/8 acre) per charge, it will require extra batteries or mid-job recharges for larger properties. Additionally, the product specifications do not state the total machine weight or the exact time needed to recharge the 4.0Ah battery pack.

Verdict: The PowerSmart 40V 17-Inch Mower is a dependable option for owners of medium lawns up to 1/8 acre who want versatile clipping options and a sturdy steel deck. If you need a straightforward, quiet cordless mower with single-lever height adjustment, it fits the bill nicely.
