AGAWA - BOREAL21-21 Inch Folding Saw with All-Purpose Saw Blade - Camping

The Agawa BOREAL21 is a packable 21-inch folding bow saw designed for outdoor woodcutting during camping, off-trail backpacking, trail clearing, and hunting. It solves the common hassle of carrying a full-sized saw into the backcountry by combining a long cutting stroke with a quick-folding frame that stows neatly inside a pack.

Setup relies on a three-hinged trapezium-shaped frame that quickly snaps into place. The automatic tensioning mechanism requires no loose screws or parts, and users never have to touch the blade while opening or closing the saw. When folded down, the saw teeth are completely concealed within the frame, ensuring that your hands and surrounding gear stay safe from accidental snags.

Built for harsh conditions, the frame uses high-strength anodized 6063 aluminum paired with stainless steel hardware and a fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle cover. The included all-purpose blade features hardened points and a rust-protective coating to handle various outdoor cutting chores. When a blade wears out or needs switching, it can be swapped without special tools.

At 18 ounces, the saw remains easy to carry, though its 21-inch length means it requires a certain amount of pack space compared to smaller pocket-sized folding saws. Additionally, the listing does not include a dedicated carry sheath, so users rely entirely on the folded frame to shield the blade.

Verdict: The Agawa BOREAL21 is an excellent option for campers, trail maintainers, and hunters who need a sturdy, full-length cutting stroke in a safe, packable design. It is particularly well-suited for anyone wanting rapid setup without loose hardware.
