BLACK+DECKER 40V MAX Hedge Trimmer, Cordless, 24-Inch Blade, Battery and Charger Included

This cordless 40V MAX hedge trimmer combines long reach and cordless freedom for homeowners managing extensive yard hedges. Powered by a 40V lithium-ion battery system, it eliminates the need for extension cords while providing the power needed to shape dense bushes and shrubs around your property.

The cutting system centers on a 24-inch dual-action blade setup capable of tackling branches up to 3/4 inch thick. Because the dual blades move against each other, they cut quickly while creating less vibration in your hands. A single charge provides enough runtime to trim up to 6,000 square feet of hedges, and the onboard state of charge indicator keeps you informed of your remaining battery level.

Handling is designed for flexibility across different trimming angles. A wrap-around front handle allows for comfortable grip transitions between horizontal tops and vertical side hedging. Comfort is supported further by a full-length trigger combined with a soft grip handle, reducing strain during longer landscaping sessions.

When considering trade-offs, the cutting capacity tops out at 3/4-inch thick branches, so thicker limbs will require dedicated pruning tools. Additionally, the manufacturer specifications do not provide the exact overall weight of the tool or the battery recharge time.

Verdict: This cordless hedge trimmer is a practical choice for homeowners with large hedge layouts who need extended reach and comfortable multi-angle handling without dealing with a power cord.
