Detailed Review
The CRAFTSMAN CMEHTS8022 is a corded electric hedge trimmer designed to keep shrubs, bushes, and plants well-maintained. Equipped with a 3.8-amp motor and 22-inch dual-action blades, it is built for homeowners who need reliable cutting capability for yard work without relying on battery charges.
For routine yard shaping, the trimmer offers a 3/4-inch cut capacity to deliver clean, even cuts along hedge lines. When you encounter thicker growth, the integrated power saw feature allows you to cut branches up to 1.5 inches thick directly with the tool.
Handling during trimming is supported by a full bale handle. This grip style helps provide comfortable maneuverability when switching between horizontal topping cuts and vertical shaping passes along the sides of bushes.
Because this is a corded electric model, your trimming range is limited by access to an electrical outlet and an appropriate extension cord. The listing also does not mention included blade sheaths or weight specifications, which are worth noting before buying.
Verdict: The CRAFTSMAN CMEHTS8022 is a practical choice for anyone needing a corded hedge trimmer with the flexibility to slice through standard foliage and thicker 1.5-inch branches.
