EGO Power+ Z6 Zero Turn Electric Riding Lawn Mower, 42" Deck -

The EGO Power+ Z6 Zero Turn Riding Lawn Mower is a battery-powered 42-inch residential mower built for homeowners who want zero-turn maneuverability without gas engines. By running on up to six 56V ARC Lithium batteries, it produces power equivalent to a 24-horsepower gas engine while handling properties up to 1.5 acres on a single charge with the included six 6.0Ah pack set.

Operation is centered around flexibility and speed. You can select between Control, Standard, and Sport driving modes, reaching top speeds of up to 8 MPH. The dual-blade cutting system lets you dial in blade speeds from 2,300 to 3,200 RPM, paired with 10 deck height settings that range from 1.5 to 4.5 inches. A wide frame design assists with balance on slopes, while the deck suspension system maintains a quiet cut.

The mower also includes built-in tech controls to manage your mowing sessions. A full-color digital screen displays essential operational data such as travel speed, active drive mode, blade RPM, and remaining battery levels. For remote tracking, you can pair the machine with the EGO Connect app to view charging times and check battery status from your phone. Furthermore, the included power packs are fully interchangeable across the broader EGO 56V power tool lineup.

Because it operates entirely on battery power, your working capacity is tied directly to the charge of the six included 6.0Ah packs, which cover up to 1.5 acres. While the mower comes backed by a 5-year tool warranty (capped at 300 hours) and a 5-year charger warranty, securing the full 5-year warranty on the batteries requires product registration within 90 days of purchase.

Verdict: This zero-turn electric rider is an excellent match for homeowners with properties up to 1.5 acres who want gas-free mowing, fast travel speeds, and interchangeable 56V batteries. If you already use or plan to expand into the EGO battery ecosystem, it offers a capable, quiet-cutting lawn tractor alternative.
