Detailed Review
The DOOYUTOOL 10-inch cordless chainsaw is a compact cutting tool built specifically for homeowners and DIYers who already use the DEWALT 20V MAX battery platform. By tapping into compatible power packs like the DCB200, DCB205, or DCBP520, this handheld saw provides a plug-and-play solution for yard maintenance without the hassle of fuel mixing or extension cords.
Driving the cut is a 1000W brushless motor designed to deliver consistent, non-fading power while reducing energy draw. At just 4 pounds, the tool is light enough to support one-handed operation and precise limb control during extended trimming sessions. An integrated smart screen displays your remaining battery percentage the moment you switch it on, removing any guesswork about run time.
Routine chain upkeep is simplified through an automatic self-oiling mechanism that begins lubricating the 10-inch bar right at start-up. To ensure the tool never runs dry, the oil reservoir features a see-through window that allows you to inspect fluid levels at a glance before starting a project.
Because this is a bare tool designed around a specific battery interface, you will need to supply your own compatible DEWALT 20V MAX battery and charger. Additionally, with its 10-inch bar size, it is tailored for light-to-medium yard pruning and smaller branch work rather than heavy timber felling.
Verdict: If you already own DEWALT 20V power tool batteries, this 4-pound chainsaw offers a practical, low-maintenance way to handle pruning and yard cutting with solid brushless power.
