Detailed Review
This 40V MAX 13-inch cordless string trimmer and edger handles routine yard maintenance, from cutting overgrown grass to shaping neat lawn borders. Designed for homeowners who need a dual-purpose tool, it combines standard line trimming with a dedicated edging mode in a single unit. The package includes the LST136 cordless tool body, an auxiliary handle, a protective guard, and an AF-100 spool to get your hardware assembled right away.
A built-in Power Command dial lets you manage performance based on your yard conditions. You can dial the setting up for maximum strength to cut through thick growth, or lower it to extend run-time across larger areas. To ensure consistent cutting power, the Powerdrive transmission delivers motor output straight to the string, while the automatic feed spool advances new line continuously without requiring manual bumping or stops.
The main trade-off is that this package is sold as a bare tool without a 40V MAX lithium-ion battery or compatible charger. If you do not already own a compatible battery, you will need to purchase both separately before using the trimmer. Additionally, the listing does not specify tool weight or shaft adjustability beyond the included auxiliary handle.
Verdict: This 13-inch trimmer is a practical pick for anyone needing an adaptable two-in-one yard tool with customizable power settings. It is especially ideal if you already own compatible 40V MAX batteries and want an efficient way to trim and edge your lawn.
