GARCARE 2 in 1 Electric Pole Hedge Trimmer 18 inch Dual-Action Laser

The GARCARE 2 in 1 Electric Pole Hedge Trimmer is designed for homeowners who need to manage both ground-level shrubbery and tall landscape hedges without switching between separate tools. It pairs a standard handheld trimming configuration with a detachable telescoping pole that extends to 9 feet, providing a working height of up to 12 feet for cutting tall growth.

Cutting performance centers around a 4.8A electric motor paired with an SK5 metal laser cutting blade capable of slicing through branches up to 3/4-inch thick. For maneuvering around awkwardly shaped hedges, the trimmer features an adjustable front handle that locks into five distinct angles (-90°, -45°, 0°, 45°, and 90°) alongside a cutting head that pivots across 100 degrees, helping you maintain clean cutting angles across flat tops and vertical sides.

To support extended yard work, the tool includes a soft auxiliary handle and a dedicated shoulder strap to help balance the weight during overhead use. Safety is handled through a dual-button start system requiring both hands to engage the power switches simultaneously before the blades operate. Power is supplied through an integrated 10-meter power cord, reducing the immediate need for short-range extension cords.

As a corded electric unit, your working area will always remain limited by cord access and proximity to an electrical outlet. Additionally, buyers should note that while the product title lists an 18-inch blade, the manufacturer specifications describe a 20-inch SK5 metal blade.

Verdict: This 2-in-1 trimmer is an effective pick for gardeners who have tall hedges and thick 3/4-inch branches to trim and prefer the consistent power of a corded motor over recharging batteries.
